First-Day Fair celebrates Market opening
March came in like a lamb this year. The early warmth promises bountiful rewards for
spring-fevered shoppers on the opening day of the Bainbridge Island Farmers Market.
This year, Island farmers are celebrating the Market opening with a First-Day
Fair, featuring events for the entire family. It all begins Saturday, April 11, at 9
a.m. In addition to the tempting array of tender spring greens, rhubarb, asparagus, spring
bouquets and Easter confections, youll find lots of fun activities going on at the
Market. Bring your shopping bag, your kids, and your appetite!
Join us at the First-Day Fair on Easter Saturday. Youll
discover that the Bainbridge Island Farmers Market is a wonderful way to start a
weekend. Its a good place to reconnect with friends and neighbors, and offers a
delightful blend of culture and commerce. Youll find a great selection of
Island-grown and Island- made products, and your dollars will help sustain
Bainbridges farming and artistic communities.
