Broccoli Salad from Butler Green Farm

4 cups uncooked, heads and stems, Brian’s best broccoli  - Chop medium fine 

½ cup red onion - Chop fine

Mix these with 1 cup salted sunflower seeds and ½ cup raisins or dried cranberries

Optional:  2-3 strips crisp fried bacon

Dressing:  1 cup or less mayonnaise, ¼ cup sugar, 2 tbs vinegar (rice)

Add orange juice to the dressing or orange zest to the salad.

Mix together and chill a few hours before serving. Keeps well, but is so appealing to all ages it disappears quickly.
